How RWF coaching was born…

I’ve always been obsessed with performance. As a boy I played football for Southampton FC’s academy and ran county cross country but was never quite good enough to make it. As I grew older, my passion took me down the route of coaching instead.

Whilst I was figuring my life out and on a break from the corporate world, within an 18 month period I ran over 100 marathons by doing some fun adventures.

Here are some examples:

22 marathons in 23 days

18 marathons in 18 days

7 marathons in 7 days

89 mile run in 15 hours

109 mile run

Ran around the IOW (66 mile, 5,500ft) in 13 hours

5 marathons in 5 days x 2

I got qualified as quick as I could and started to coach others to fulfil their own running dreams. I’ve never been the fastest or strongest, if I’m being honest, I’ve never really pushed that hard for fast times in running. I see myself as a coach first and foremost and this is where my attention and dedication has gone over the past 5/6 years.

I aim to keep everything simple. You need to feel as though I am there for you and I need to make sure you have running sessions, strength / accessory exercises and any other cross training sessions in your calendar every week. Of course these sessions need to be taking you towards your goals, but c’mon man! I’ve been honing my craft for years now!

I use my app in order to deliver my coaching. I program a few weeks ahead at a time, but this doesn’t mean it’s rigid. Sessions can change at the drop of a hat, after all, we’re busy and life can get in the way. Everything is tailored to you. I don’t have a single session or any programs saved to my workout libraries because I provide coaching not plans. What I program is always made entirely for you.

I have three different coaching packages and charge between £120 and £160 a month for these. Click on the button below, fill in the form and we can have a chat to see how I can help!
